I am very satisfied with the trial and I wish to pay to keep my website online. What are my options?

Solution:

You can access our offers from inside your NetReal Control Panel account as well (you need to be logged in). Press on the My Account tab in the left-side menu to expand this section, then click on the "Payments&Subscriptions" link, the third link in the submenu.
Alternatively, if you are already logged in, from the NetReal homepage, click on the Pricing and features link from the right-side INSIDE NETREAL menu. You will be taken to a page, which contains detailed explanations about every type of subscription. You don't have to be logged in to access and use this page.
You have two options: The NetReal Premium package and The NetReal VIP package, each with monthly or yearly subscriptions.

Pricing is simple:
1. The Premium Membership - $14.49/month, $149/year

There is no startup fee and you can cancel whenever you want.

Website sections:

For your profile - The Home page and the About Me page contain photos, bio and any other information about yourself you wish to include. The Testimonials page is the expression of your satisfied customers.

For your listings - These pages are especially build for showcasing your listings: Featured listings, Rental properties, and More listings (for your MLS/IDX listings).

For interacting with your visitors - The Contact Me and Email Me pages allow your visitors to get in touch with you; The Home Evaluation and Want to Buy a Home page help you get leads and provide assistance to visiting home sellers and buyers.

For resources - These pages contain resources for your visitors: the Community Info page for the neighborhood your are farming in, the Resource Center and the Recommended Links page with useful information and links for your visitors, Calculators, Weather Forecast and a comprehensive Glossary. Domain and hosting

With the NetReal Premium Package, you will get one subdomain (www.yourname.netreal.net), as well as hosting.
You can also register and host your own domain name (www.myname.com) with NetReal for only $25 per year. If you already own a domain name and only need hosting, the price is $15 per year.

Using a support account

How do I use a support account?

Solution:

You can log in to your support account without logging in to your NetReal Control Panel account. From the NetReal homepage, press the Support tab to get to the Netreal Support center page.
After you've logged in with your email and password, click the Open a Ticket link from the left-side menu. Then click on the destination, the Netreal Support Department Queue link and fill in the form. The subject should contain a short description of your problem (e.g. Trouble uploading pictures) and the body should detail it. Also, fill the fields at the bottom of the page with your name, subscription type and problem type and choose the ticket's priority.
When you are finished, click the Send Ticket button to send it to us.
To follow up on your ticket, click the Track Open Tickets link from the left-side menu. This page shows you if and when our team received the ticket.
You will get the answer to your request both in your email and on the Track Open Tickets page.
If your problem has been solved, the ticket will disappear from your support account. If it wasn't (e.g. we need more time or information), the ticket will remain in your account. If you wish to reopen a ticket, you simply have to reply to the email message.

Creating a support account

How do I create a support account?

Solution:

If you need help and/or if you cannot find the necessary information in Help documents (The Step-By-Step Wizard document, the visual tutorials or the page help), you can create a support account and ask our team for answers by opening a ticket.
You do not need to be logged in to access this feature.
Press the Support tab, the last tab of the main menu at the top of every page and you will be taken to the Netreal Support Center page.
Important: you can open a support ticket without a support account but you cannot track it. So it is better to create a support account to follow up on your help request.
Click on the Register New Support Account link on the bottom left of the page. You will be taken to a registration page with two forms. The first form at the top is for your email address and the second for your confirmation code.
Fill in the fields of the first form with your email address.
Important: this email address can be different from your original address (the one used for logging in to your NetReal account).
After you click the Send Confirmation button, a confirmation code will be sent to your email.
The email contains a confirmation link which you can click thus completing the support account registration, and a confirmation code which you can use in case you wish to confirm your registration manually. In the latter case, fill in the second form with your email address and the confirmation code and click the Confirm Registration button.
Important: If the link from your email is broken in two, you can still complete the confirmation by browser. Copy the first part of the link in your browser's address bar, then copy the second without leaving any spaces between the two parts. Then press Enter.
Once you've confirmed your registration, you will be taken to a new page where you will be asked to choose a password and enter your personal info to finalize your account. When you have finished filling in the required fields, click on the Create Account button.
You're all set now. To start using your support account, log in by filling in the fields of the login box on the left of the main support page with your email and your password.

Selecting and managing my templates

Problem:

How do I select and manage my templates?

Solution:

There is no template selected when you create your account. In order to build your website, you need to select one.
Login to your NetReal Control Panel account. Press on the My Site Builder tab in the left-side menu to expand this section, then click the Select Template link (the second link in the submenu that opened).
To select a template, you can use one of the two buttons on the Select Template page: the Template Explorer or the Template selection wizard. Choose which one to press.
The Template Explorer allows you to see and test in real time different versions of your future webpage by selecting a template which you will be able to browse like a normal website. Using the drop-down menu, you can search by category and subcategory and preview each design (by pressing the blue Preview button). Once you've decided on a template, press the Select template red button.
The Template selection wizard allows you to browse into a directory-structured webpage where all the templates are organized in categories and subcategories with thumbnail galleries.
Press the Select this category button and you'll be taken to the subcategory page. Choose one by clicking on the Select this subcategory button. The final step is to decide which design you like best.
Below each template, there are three buttons: Make your current template button -use it to choose this design for your site, the Add to favorites button-use it to select this template for your favorites folder and the Preview button-use it to preview your site in a browsable version. After you add a template to favourites, a message will be displayed confirming your action and the icon will change.
To view your favourite templates, go to the menu on the left and press the My Preferences tab, then the My Favorite Templates link from the submenu that opened.
This is the place where all your favourite templates are stored. To set a template as current or to remove it from your favourites, click the Make it your current template button or the Remove from your favorites button respectively, which are next to the template thumbnail.

Selecting a subdomain name

Problem:

How do I select a subdomain name (Default domain name selection-yourname.netreal.net)?

Solution:

The domain name is the unique name that identifies an Internet site and it always has two or more parts, separated by dots (e.g. yourname.netreal.net ). The part on the left is the most specific, and the part on the right is the most general. You get to choose the name on the left.
Login to your NetReal Control Panel account. Click on the My Site Builder button on the left tab and choose Select domain from the submenu that opened (it's the first link of the submenu).
You can find important info about selecting a subdomain name at the top of the page (the yellow background text). Please read it carefully before moving forward.
You will find the Default domain name selection on the bottom of the page with a list of possible subdomain names. You can choose one of these names or create a new one.
Important: you have to choose your default domain name with care (e.g. RealtorName.netreal.net), because only your first choice is free. After you have selected your default domain name, for just $25 per year, you can buy your own domain name (".com", ".net", ".org", ".biz", ".us") including the hosting for one year.
After you've decided on a suitable name, fill in the empty field in the Default domain name selection box and press the Submit button.

Supporting IDX MLS Search capabilities

Problem:

Do NetReal websites support IDX MLS Search capabilities?

Solution:

The NetReal.net website allows you to link to the MLS listings if your MLS board provides you with a smart-framing IDX link. You need to contact your MLS board to see if they support this feature (smart-framing IDX).
If they do, they'll provide you with a link. All you have to do is to paste this link into the More listings section - using your NetReal Control Panel.

Registering and starting the free 30-day trial

Problem:

How do I register and start the free 30-day trial?

Solution:

You have two ways of registering and starting your 30-day free trial: either click on the Register now link on the right of the page or directly click on the Free 30-day trial button, both situated on the NetReal homepage. In both cases you will be taken to the registration form where you will be asked to fill in the fields with your personal information, an email address which will be used as a sign-in name and a password. The fields marked with "*" are mandatory for registration. You can change both registration and login data from your account administration page at a later time.
No credit card information is required for registration!
Important: the email you submit will be displayed on your website and used by your clients for online contact.
After you finished entering your data, press the Submit button to complete your registration and you will be taken to your account administration page. Click on the big Start trial button to activate your free account for 30 days.

I purchased a Professional Email Accounts package but the status of the payment is set as pending. What's happening?

After the validation of the payment and the creation of your professional email account package by the technical team the status will change to Active. Usually this operation doesn't take us more than 12 hours and even less if you're purchasing this package in the working hours.
After the email account package becomes ACTIVE you can define the mailboxes as you want.

Buying a domain name (e.g yourname.com)

Problem:

How do I buy a domain name (e.g yourname.com)?

Solution:

Login to your NetReal Control Panel account. Press on the Site Builder tab in the left-side menu to expand this section, then click on the first link of the submenu, Select domain.
At the bottom of the page you can find the two necessary links in order to complete this operation: the Domain Availability Checker link - which you can use to check if your domain name is still available - and the Domain Register link- use this to register the domain name.
Click on the Domain Register link, fill in the empty field with the desired name and choose the domain extension (.com, .org, .net), e.g. www.yourname.com. Click the Submit button to register your new domain name.

The annual fee for registering and hosting a domain with us is $25 ($10 registering fee and $15 hosting fee).

Virus Email Notification: Beware of Unsubscribe Email

Problem:

I received an email from Joe Anderson. Although, I never sent any newsletters out to anyone before, Joe Anderson is saying he has received an real estate newsletter from my email address.

Solution:

If you receive a similar email like the one bellow please notice that it's a malicious email trying to pass as legit. We don't sent any real estate newsletter that is not clearly marked as being sent by NetReal.net (and not by any of our subscribers).

It seems that the message is propagated by an email virus.

Using a domain name with the NetReal website

Problem:

I already own a domain name. Can I use it with the NetReal website?

Solution:

Yes, you can use your own domain name with your NetReal website. For this, you need to buy a Domain Hosting package for only $15/year. If you are a VIP member, the hosting services for your domain name are included in the package.

Log in to your NetReal Control Panel.

Click on the My Account tab in the left-side menu to expand this section, then on the "Payments&Subscription" link.

The "Payments&Subscription" page contains a list of all the NetReal packages available for you. Click on the Purchase now link, next to the Domain Hosting package.

You will be taken to a page where you will enter your domain name. After you click on the Submit button, you will need to confirm the domain name on the next page, by pressing on the Order this domain name button. Then you will get to the ordering page.

After you've ordered the Domain Hosting package, you will need to change the DNS's (Domain Name Servers) of your domain to the following:

Primary DNS: ns.net-real.com
Secondary DNS: ns2.net-real.com

To do this you must login to your registrar control panel (the company/website where you bought the domain from). If you have troubles with finding the DNS's interface you can give us your username/password and the URL of your registrar and we will make the change for you.

Once the DNS's are changed, it will take around 48 hours until the domain will be functional (it takes some time until the DNS change is propagated through the Internet).

Customizing my site content

Problem:

How do I start customizing my site content?

Solution:

Managing the content of your website is a very simple and intuitive job. All the tools you need for this are found in the MY SITE BUILDER section from the left-side menu. Click on the Site content link, the fifth link from the expanded submenu and you'll get the list of your website's sections situated in the center of the page.
The first section, titled Home is your default homepage, the first page your visitor will see when accessing your site.
You can change the name and the order of the sections, or deactivate them to suit your needs.
When you first create your account, your website pages are not blank. Every page has the default content, complete with the data you entered to create the account (your name, your address etc.). Using the tools from the Site content page, you can customize the content.
Each section is equipped with a set of buttons.
The first is the On/ Off button you can click to activate/deactivate the corresponding section.
The second group consists of two buttons with Up and Down arrows. Use them to move the sections up and down the list.
Clicking the name of the section will expand a submenu you can use to customize the content of the webpage. Each item of the submenu has an On/ Off button and an Edit button. Clicking the Edit button will open a popup window containing tools and forms which you can use to modify the default content to your satisfaction. The third button is the Edit name button. By clicking it, you will be able to change the name of the section.
The fourth Edit content button will work the same way as clicking the name of the section.
The fifth and final button is the Preview button, which you can use to check up on your work.

Checking my traffic stats

Problem:

How do I check my traffic stats?

Solution:

Login to your NetReal Control Panel account. Press on the E-Market Website tab in the left-side menu to expand this section, then click on the last link of the submenu, 'traffic Stats?.
The top form serves to set the traffic visible or invisible. If you set your traffic status to visible, your visitors will see a counter on the footer of your website. If you set traffic to invisible, you will be able to monitor it from your account administration page, but it will be hidden on your website. Check the box you want, then click Change. Now scroll down this page to read your traffic stats.
The table shows the number of impressions (visited pages) 'the red column- and the number of unique visitors 'the blue bar- for: today, this week, this month, last month, quarter and year.
The chart shows traffic stats for the last three days. Click on a link to see the detailed traffic stats. First click on Today.
You have four types of statistics: top 30 visitors, top 20 referrers over all the pages, top 20 referrers' domain over all the pages and top 5 countries. Click on Traffic stats on the left menu or on the browser's Back button to go back.
You can do the same to view traffic statistics for: this week, this month, last month, quarter, year.

Managing my files

How do I manage my files?

Solution:

Each account comes with a quantity of disk space for uploading your files. The Premium account has 10 Mb and the VIP account comes with a handy 40 Mb. These files can be any type of picture or document you might need for your website.
Important: No file can exceed 2Mb in size.
Login to your NetReal Control Panel account. Press on the e-OFFICE tab in the left-side menu to expand this section, then click on the second link of the submenu, My files.
Using the tools on this page, you can upload files and organize them in folders.
The first item on the page is the graph bar representing your quota and it shows the percentage of disk space used by your files.
Under the disk quota, there's the Current folder drop-down menu, which you can use to select the folder you wish to see or work with. Next to this menu, there are two small buttons: the Directory up button (a yellow folder with a green arrow)- you can use it to navigate up the directory tree- and the New Folder button (a yellow folder with a red star). Clicking on the New folder button will open a popup window. Fill in the empty field with the folder's name, then click Ok to save or Cancel to get back to the main page. In both cases, the popup window will close automatically.
Under the Current folder drop-down menu, there is the Upload bar. Next to it, you can find the Browse button. Click it to open a popup window with which to navigate into your computer. Select the file and click Open. The popup window will close automatically. The name of the file will appear in the Upload bar. Click on the Upload in the current folder to upload the file to our server.
The last item on the page is the list of files and folders. Next to each one, there are two buttons: the Trash button (a trash can) - click this to delete the file/folder and the View button which appears only next to the files (not the folders) - for quick-viewing.
Important: This list will automatically be updated when you upload a file/create a folder.

Changing the type and size of the font used for my website

Solution:

Login to your NetReal Control Panel account. Press on the My Site Builder tab in the left-side menu to expand this section, then click on the third link of the submenu, Select font.
You have two drop-down menus in the form: one for selecting the font type (the default font type is Verdana) and one for selecting the size (the default font size is medium). To help you decide, below the menu there is a demo text where you can check the aspect of your website text. When you choose a font type/size, the text changes automatically.
When you've decided on a suitable type and size, click on the Select font button.

Adding/modifying the homepage photo

How do I add/modify the homepage photo?

Solution:

Login to your NetReal Control Panel account. Press on the My Site Builder tab in the left-side menu to expand this section, then click on the fifth link of the submenu, Site Content.
The central section of the page contains a list with your website's sections. Click on the Home link (the section's name), then on the Main info subsection from the expanded menu. A popup window that opens contains the tools needed for editing the homepage content. You will use the Main Photo form.
Important: The image must be in .JNG, .GIF or .PNG format and its maximum size shouldn't exceed 1 Mb.
Click on the Browse button situated on the right of the Add field, under the photo thumbnail. This action will open a popup window that will enable you to search for the desired item through your files. Select the photo, then click on the Open button and the popup will close automatically.
Set the size of the photo: small, medium or large, by checking the appropriate box in the Picture size form under the Add field (this field now contains the name of your photo). Afterward, press the Submit button and the photo will be uploaded and resized to fit your website. Close the popup window after you?re finished.
Use the same steps to edit your photo.
Important: This photo will appear only on the front page. If you wish to upload a picture that will appear on every page, please read the FAQ question: Uploading the photo above the menu, the one that appears on every page and/ or see the visual tutorial How to: Create your site identity: menu. Important: If you have set the photo visible in the menu, your Main info section photo will be hidden.

Signing in and signing out

How do I sign in and sign out?

Solution:

The sign-in box is situated on the right side of the NetReal homepage.
In the first field, enter the email you used when you created your account. Enter your password in the second field. To finish signing in, press the Sign in button.
If you have entered valid sign-in data, you will be taken to the front page of your account administration panel.
When you are done managing your site, sign out by selecting the red Sign out button on the bottom left of the page.

Uploading my agency logo

How do I upload my agency logo?

Solution:

Your agency logo is placed within your website's menu, situated on every page. You can replace the default version with your own.
In order to change it, login to your NetReal Control Panel account. Press on the My Site Builder tab in the left-side menu to expand this section, then click on Site identity, the fourth link in the submenu. Click on the Menu elements button.
You will get a page with two forms, one for uploading the photo and one for the agency logo. You will use the second form.
Important: The image must be in .JNG, .GIF or .PNG format and its maximum size shouldn't exceed 1 Mb.
On the left of the uploading form, there is the thumbnail of your logo and under it, there is the Delete photo button.
On the right there's the Add field and next to it the Browse button. To upload a logo, press the Browse button. This action will open a popup window, which will enable you to search for the desired item through your files. Select the picture, then click on the Open button and the popup will close automatically.
Set the size of the logo: small, medium or large, by checking the appropriate box in the Picture size form under the Add field (this field now contains the name of your photo).
Under the Picture size form, there is the Visibility form.
Important: if you set your agency logo to visible, it will show on the menu of every page, under the main navigation links.
After you've made your changes, hit the Submit button to save. The image will be uploaded and resized to fit on your website.

Problem:

How do I pay for a subscription?

Solution:

You can pay online using all the major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover. Monthly payments are recurring (automated).
Important: Register now and the prices will not change during the whole year, even if you choose a monthly subscription.
In order to access the "Payments&Subscriptions" page, login to your NetReal Control Panel account. Press on the My Account tab in the left-side menu to expand this section, then click on the "Payments&Subscriptions" link, the third link in the submenu. Choose the most convenient type of package for you (Premium or VIP) and the type of subscription: monthly or yearly. Next to each offer, there's the Order Now button. Clicking it will take you on a secure page where you will get the forms you need to fill in, in order to make the payment.
The first page contains the characteristics of your chosen package, which you will need to confirm by pressing the Continue button at the bottom of the page. On the next page, you can find the form you need to fill in with your credit card details and your personal info.
Important: This purchase will appear on your credit card statement under the name 2CO.COM and if you should have any problems with this order, you can contact 2Checkout Inc (2CO.COM) for a prompt resolution.
After you've entered the necessary data, click the Complete Order Now button to finish the operation. Your account will change to your desired option automatically.

Problem:

How do I manage my credential logos?

Solution:

Your credential logos/designations are placed at the bottom of each page of your website, within the footer. You can choose those that apply to you and your business. They tell the prospective clients of your strong points and your qualifications.
Login to your NetReal Control Panel account. Press on the My Site Builder tab in the left-side menu to expand this section, then click on Site identity, the fourth link in the submenu. Click on the Footer elements button.
The page contains a list of logos. You can find out what each thumbnail stands for by hovering the mouse pointer over it and reading the text that appears.
To select the ones you want, check the white square beneath each thumbnail by clicking on it.
After you've finished your selection, click on the ?Add/Change? button at the bottom of the page to save it.

Changing the title of my website

Problem:

How do I change the title of my website?

Solution:

The default site title is your name.
In order to change it, login to your NetReal Control Panel account. Press on the My Site Builder tab in the left-side menu to expand this section, then click on Site identity, the fourth link in the submenu. Click on the Header elements button.
Use the form to change the title of your website, by filling in the first field with your choice. To save the changes, press the Change button.

Troubleshooting: uploading a picture

Problem:

Why can't I upload a picture?

Solution:

Every picture must be in .JNG, .GIF or .PNG format and its maximum size shouldn't exceed 1 Mb.
You can use an image editor application (Irfan View, Paint from Windows, ACDSEE) to edit your picture to fit these conditions.
If these requirements are met and you still have trouble with the upload procedure, then contact us at support@netreal.net (attach the picture to your email).

Changing the text in the footer

Problem:

How do I change the text in the footer?

Solution:

The text at the bottom of the page usually contains the copyright notice but it can be anything else. The default text is ?All rights reserved to (Yourname). Copyright 2004?.
If you want to change it, login to your NetReal Control Panel account. Press on the My Site Builder tab in the left-side menu to expand this section, then click on Site identity, the fourth link in the submenu. Click on the Footer elements button.
At the bottom of the page, you can find the form you need to change the text. Type it in the field.
After you've finished, click on the ?Add/Change? button at the bottom of the page to save your work.

Changing the motto

Problem:

How do I change the motto?

Solution:

The site motto is placed under the website title on the header of every page. The default site motto is We Will Help You Find Your Way HOME.
In order to change it, login to your NetReal Control Panel account. Press on the My Site Builder tab in the left-side menu to expand this section, then click on Site identity, the fourth link in the submenu. Click on the Header elements button.
Use the form to change the title of your website, by filling in the second field with your choice. To save the changes, press the Change button.
